Who Owns Your Body . . .

Who owns your body?

Evidently, in the opinion of the Supreme Court, the federal government owns your body and has the constitutional right to do with it whatever it wants.

It should be no surprise that the four arrogant elitists who comprise the court’s collectivist wing would agree.  After all, in their distorted world view, our only purpose in living is to serve the state, a value system espoused by Plato two thousand years ago at the time of the Greek empire.  Sharing that immoral philosophy, Drs. Ezekial Emanual and Peter Singer, co-authors of the ObamaCare legislation, have written books and articles promoting post-birth abortion (a polite term for infanticide), denial of care to the elderly and infirm as being not cost-effective, and rationing of healthcare based on a person’s value to society.

Opining pundits to the contrary, until Justice Roberts publishes his memoires, his true motives are pure speculation.

In the big picture, however, does it really matter?

The federal court system including the Supreme Court long ago ceased to be the defender of The Constitution and the moral and legal principles on which our Republic was founded.  Anyone with a basic knowledge of colonial history can read that document, appreciate the origin of its content, and understand the intent of the great men who wrote it.  Its words were designed to protect and secure forever the freedom of each individual against the abusive power of the tyrant.  If the justices of the Supreme Court were doing their job, the Court would consistently decide in favor of protecting the rights of the individual against usurpation of power by the federal government.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Court has repeatedly failed in its obligation to act as the independent and apolitical restraint on the unconstitutional excesses that are the natural yearnings of the executive and congressional branches of government.  Since justices are chosen for their politics, not for their judicial knowledge, each court decision produces barely more suspense than watching a roll call vote in congress.

Our founders believed that a person’s private property is not just his land and home, but also the work of his hands, the inventions of his brain and, ultimately, his life itself.  ObamaCare gives to the federal government total control over decisions that determine whether a person lives or dies.  Its enactment, therefore, represents a moral, constitutional, and systemic failure of all three branches of government.

I do own my body.  And so, the battle continues.

My task now is to figure out how to defend it against the demands and needs of a tyrannical federal government whose interests are contrary to my own.

I own my body, land and personal effects, Any legislation or [fraudulent] contract to the contrary are unconstitutional and illegal hence are null and void upon inception. In 1978 I took an oath to defend the constitution from enemies foreign and domestic. Any violations to this effect will be met with deadly force. I have no faith in nor allegiance to the de facto courts of this county, state or nation. They have proven their contempt for the constitution for the United States.

Looks like we can’t depend on the Supremes to follow the US Constitution either.

What say we all have bumper stickers made that read:

June 28 2012; ‘Woke up a US Citizen and went to bed a subject of the FED. No shots were fired.

‘Never thought I’d see our freedoms drain out like sand in an hourglass!
