Our Constitutional Republic is on a runaway train toward financial disaster. Like it or not, we are all passengers on that train. The increasing size and power of our federal legislative and bureaucratic monster in DC has continued to seriously erode our Natural Law Rights, abolish or restrict our constitutionally guaranteed freedoms, impede our economic free market rights and has placed our lives and safety at risk in the approaching national monetary collapse.
This year, 2026, is another national and local election year. Our nation is governed at the federal level and even at the state level by members of two political parties, Republican and Democrat. At least that is the traditional theory of how government works. Most of us realize, however, that virtually all elected officials belong to one common party, the Uniparty. Regardless of political rhetoric or party affiliation, the Uniparty’s primary goal is winning elections and multiple re-elections to satisfy their lust for power and appetite for self-enrichment.
The result is a government that works very well for the political ruling class but lacks the desire and the intention to solve the country’s problems for the benefit of We the People.
Our Two-Party (UniParty) system is so firmly entrenched that its hold on electoral power has not been successfully challenged for over a century. Legislation and devastating court decisions have guaranteed that wealthy individuals and corporations can use their large fortunes to purchase election victories. If you don’t believe that, ask yourself why a candidate for US Senate spends $200 million for a job that pays $175,000 a year. The answer is, of course, obvious. Money buys favorable decisions on legislation and regulation.
Alternative governing designs do exist. In Great Britain’s parliamentary system, for example, small political parties can elect enough individual legislators to influence policy and become part of the ruling coalition. Parliamentary governments are often unstable, because the governing coalition is inherently fragile. When unanticipated issues arise, the solution is not always acceptable to all coalition members. If a parliamentary majority is not maintained, the government will fall.
The most important question we can answer right now is what course of political action is available and potentially successful to preserve our constitutional republic and the individual rights and freedoms it secures and protects.
Libertarian principles, especially limited government, free market tools, and fiscal responsibility, may offer solutions to societal problems and help America avoid financial Armageddon. Group identity politics and big government wealth redistribution programs serve the ambitions of the ruling class and produce an acrimonious division that threatens to destroy us from within. Many Americans, especially younger generations, do identify in general with public policy that protects personal freedom and individual rights with free market economic principles. To appeal to a larger segment of the voting population, the Libertarian Party must put aside their internal differences and present a unified platform that appeals to those desires.

Thank you for your efforts to help preserve freedom in the United States of America, and for sharing your thoughts and observations with your fellow Patriots.
Since the days of LBJ, I have thought that a third choice in political parties is greatly needed. After reading how the Progressive Movement impacted our nation, I became more convinced. After reading what FDR – the Father of Socialism in America – did to our country, I became 100% convinced that, unless a better choice could be offered to the American Citizen, our beloved country was doomed!
I became quite hopeful when I first began learning about the Libertarian Party, but, after some further examination, I found myself quite disappointed with some of its ideology. I was compelled to apply the “80/20 Rule” to the Libertarian Party (I’m certain most people know from whence I speak), and this prevented me from ever seriously considering becoming an active member of the Libertarians.
At this point, I must admit that I am very disappointed with the Republican Party, in general and, in my view, it is the “RINO” class that have infiltrated it and, sadly, ruined it in my estimation. However, since I find there is no way I can bring myself to support any politician who travels under the Democrat flag, I find that I am forced to side with the lesser of the two evils.
I earnestly hope the Libertarians can shed some of their outlandish views, get a firm grip on reality, and (perhaps) rebrand themselves under a new flag.
Again, thank you for all you do to help restore our beloved country in the ways our Founders intended.
